The film takes a romantic drive when the Scout falls in love with an Indian (Apache) beauty, Played by Debra Paget. In the course of romance and passion for peace the scout loses the faith of his own people. The Whites think that he is in league with the Apaches. But the scout sticks to his efforts for treaty. Ultimately he obtains the peace between the TVs warring sides but pays heavily with the life of his beloved, who dies in an ambush. |
